The Myth of Marathon

Dating from ages past until now, we humans, for a good part of our lifetime, live with many fanciful and supernatural dreams we know will never materialize in the near future. One of those many futile dreams is time travel. Frequently one would imagine to have in possession a remote that can rewind or fast-forward the series of events occurred or about to occur respectively.

While close attention is given to these two buttons by most of us, there is another infrequently thought-about entity that has power at par with them in the so-called “future remote,” which is the pause button. This button, or more suitably, this concept forms the basis of this fictional work. About the Author
