Rajah and Ananta—the mighty tiger and the venomous king cobra—have learnt to live together in harmony. Their common enemy is man, whose greed and ruthlessness drive him to kill for profit. Sought after for his colourful coat, Rajah the tiger may be possessed of immense strength, but he is impetuous and careless. He often has to be saved by the humbler but more resourceful jungle folk such as Lil Squi and Chuhi.
